Meet The Carolina Highlands Lifestyle Director

As the Lifestyle Director for The Carolina Highlands, Kelly Papagikos feels extremely privileged to be involved in the daily lives and activities of her residents.

Kelly was born in Brooklyn NY, where she attended Clara Barton High School and graduated from the Certified Nurses Aide program. She attended classes at NYU, then continued to St. Louis, MO where she graduated from nursing school as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her background in nursing has been a useful resource throughout her life. 

As life took its course, family and faith took her in another direction in health care. During Kelly’s tenure in Columbus, OH, she served as the assistant to the administrator of the neonatal, mother and infant unit at The Ohio State University Hospital. 

Kelly enjoys working to improve individual well-being, a passion that helped launch her current career at The Carolina Highlands. As the lifestyle director, she uses that passion while planning and meeting the social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of our homeowners. Kelly also manages the operational needs of the Carolina Highlands, with the best interests of the residents always as her first priority.

In her spare time, she is also the wife of a priest and the mother of four wonderful sons, who are her first priority and greatest pride.
