Fayetteville has not made up its mind with the weather as far as which way it will go but that will not affect our plans here at the highlands.
The women are out gardening, we will plant flowers, pick strawberries and hopefully enjoy the outdoors before the summer.
The BIG EVENT coming soon is the “Hill Billy Pig Pickin’ Hog Roast & Luau here at the Highlands, weather providing. We will bring our banjos and our Hula skirts out doors for fun times. We are as mixed up as the weather….

Spring is here and the residents are getting excited to get out and enjoy some outdoor activities. We will be putting some "SPRING" in our step by kicking off our Highlands Walk Club. We will also be taking Tai Chi to the gardens for some fresh air while you exercise. You don't have to be a resident of Carolina Highlands to be a part of our activities. We are looking forward to the spring flowers and sunny days! March will be packed full of fun to include a trip to Raleigh. (Maybe Kelly will take us to the Cheesecake Factory).

We have enjoyed a restful January and we are ready to kick things back into gear for February. Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we have an abundance of activities planned this month. We will be making handcrafted jewelery, enjoying a chocolate fountain with fruit, dancing to love songs for our special entree night and even going to Myrtle Beach for shopping. As usual, we have several fun things planned for our residents and guests. We encourage you to join us for an event at anytime. Please call our office for more details. Boy we are exploding with holiday extravaganza here at the Highlands. We had a blast singing Christmas carols on the way to the Fruitcake Factory. I think tasting all the treats they had to offer was even better! Our residents are full of holiday cheer and you will see our bus "dashing" all around town participating in as many Christmas events as we can. We still have a very busy calendar through the end of the month so call to get our schedule and join us for an event. Even better.... you can join us and become part of our family while we still have a few condo's left for lease or purchase. Tours can be scheduled at your convenience. Carolina Highlands is kicking off the holiday spirit early this year with a special trip to Snyder Memorial Baptist Church for their annual Singing Christmas Tree performance at the end of this month on the 30th. This Fayetteville tradition began back in 1980 and features 250 singers, 2 hand bell choirs, and a 40 piece orchestra! Family and friends are more than welcome to accompany residents to this special event. The month of December is filled with holiday cheer--from carolers to lighting ceremonies and nativity scenes. We are all so excited to celebrate together this holiday season! Don’t forget to sign up for the White Elephant Christmas exchange taking place on December 11th. Guests are always welcome! Need help wrapping some of those holiday gifts for family and friends? Not a problem! Just stop by the lobby December 19th and partake in some free gift wrapping! Also, don’t forget to sign up for the Christmas Party on the 21st and enjoy a special chef prepared entrée and some festive entertainment. Remember: ‘Tis the season! So help us, help others and donate to our food drive throughout the month!

It's almost that time of year again where we begin thinking of family, activities, and fun. Here at Carolina Highlands we keep up with local events so all our residents have entertainment to enjoy. Our December calendar is packed full of fun and exciting activities for all our residents to enjoy. We will be traveling around the area to enjoy many holiday activities such as view the ballet of Pharoah's Daughter, a trip to the delightful Fruitcake Factory, viewing Christmas lights in the area and much more!
